La Mandragore paints a musical portrait of the era of Barbarossa (Germany, France, and Italy, XIIth-XIIIth c.): excerpts from the Carmina Burana, the Laudario di Cortona, various French manuscripts, and from the work of Hildegard von Bingen. In this third album, Mandragore leaves the Mediterranean for new horizons. But the originality and energy for which the are know are only increased with the addition of new sounds and new collaborators.
